The project consists of a new 5,000 square foot, one story Maintenance Building at Lasdon Park, Katonah, NY, for the Westchester County Department of Public Works.
Heating in the garage portion is furnished by propane-fired infrared tube heaters. Electric baseboard heat was provided in the toilet room and support spaces. Air conditioning was not required.
The incoming water service was provided via an on-site well serving a hydro-pneumatic tank, to regulate the distribution pressure. Sanitary waste piping was routed to a septic system. A roof rain water collection system was piped to a collection tank.
Electrical and telephone services were extended from the nearest electric and telephone utility poles to building. Power was provided to outlets, air compressor, exhaust system, etc.
A Master Label Lightning Protection System was located on the roof of the facility.
A residential-type fire alarm system was provided with a remote dial-up connection to the Lasdon Park central control facility.
